I committed to graduate from Yorktown High School in Arlington, Va. in
2002. Following that I graduated from Virginia Tech through the
education Master’s program in 2007. I am a huge Hokie fan, as anyone
entering my room can tell! I started my love of teaching in Charlotte,
N.C. where I taught third grade. I decided that being that far from my
Hokies was too much, and decided to move back to Blacksburg where I have
been working for Montgomery County ever since! I love the fourth grade
and hope that all my kids are as excited for the year as I am!
When
I am not here at Falling Branch I enjoy running, Zumba, and spinning
(but only when Mrs. Ford makes me) and heading to the beach with my
family. I love to read and I look to instill that love into each of my
students! I hope my students and I enjoy many books and exciting times
this school year.
