Welcome to Second Grade! Many fun and exciting things happen during our school year. In the fall, science comes alive with life cycles of plants and animals. As a 2nd grade tradition, December brings "Christmas in Who-ville" with a rendition of Dr. Seuss' story and a visit from the Grinch himself! Springtime brings us to the ancient civilizations of Egypt and China. Our studies of Ancient civilizations come to a close with a cultural celebration which allows the students to experience some customs and traditions of each.
Through all of our studies, we hope to instill a love of learning through literature, writing, math, technology, and art.
