Hi! Welcome to 4th grade. I’m Laken Harrell, and I’m so excited to have you on our H2 team this year. This is my 4th year teaching at FBE but my 16th year teaching overall. I have taught in Roanoke City, Fredericksburg City, Salem City, and Montgomery Co! I am a product of MCPS schools, having gone to CHS and BHS.
Before teaching, I attended Mary Baldwin College, where I was in the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership and contracted in the US Air Force. I received my Master’s Degree at Radford University.
I am married to Brack, a SPC in the US Army, and we have two daughters- Aubie who is in 3rd grade here at FBE and Ada who just turned 2 this summer.
